About Me

Growing up in NYC in the 70’s and 80’s – and moving through jobs in commercial banks, the european commission, and organic textiles – my art is about the materials and tools of our lives and the choices we make.

I try to make good choices, and try to share my successes and failures. I'm influenced by natural textures and smells, I've put together this site to burnish and practice a visual language.  And I like to explore our apparently hard-wired inability to act on solutions in our long-term interest when face with a lesser, but more immediate, perceived gain.

I feel caught, and torn, between optimism and despair... the joy of a simple life and the shine of the consumerist contract… laughter and anger.

I am colour blind, left handed, good-natured, and (like all of us) 1 in 7.062 billion
